The University of Scranton is a Christian university in the Jesuit tradition, committed to the ideals of God’s Kingdom and to the perspective of the liberal arts in which integration of faith, learning, and action is a primary goal. Located in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the school has more than 80 undergraduate and graduate degree programs, and 5,600 students enrolled.
Accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, The University of Scranton two Master’s degrees in Education, the Master of Science in Education: Curriculum and Instruction and Master of Science in Education: Educational Administration.
Admissions are somewhat liberal. A 2.75 undergraduate GPA is required, along with three references. GRE scores may be required upon the discretion of the Dean of the program.
Tuition is rather expensive. Graduate tuition is $775 per credit hour.
